Lee District Neighborhood Resource Fair April 21

The Lee District will host a Neighborhood Resource Fair Saturday, April 21, at the Franconia Governmental Center, 6121 Franconia Road, Alexandria, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Light refreshments will be available.

“When all is said and done, the most important thing we do is protect the integrity of our neighborhoods,” said Lee District Supervisor Dana Kauffman. “This fair is a face-to-face opportunity for citizens to take action.”

Residents, civic association members and homeowners association representatives are invited to attend. County staff will be on hand to help with advice and information on:

Property maintenance
Building without permits
Parking issues on public streets
Junk vehicles on streets and private property
Trash
Blighted properties
Police and safety concerns
Grass height enforcement
Health concerns and hoarding
Streetlight upgrades and new installations
Traffic calming and street maintenance
