Herndon Festival Set for May 31 – June 3
The 27th annual Herndon Festival is scheduled for May 31 through June 3. The festival is held in the historic district of the Town of Herndon.
More than 90,000 people from around the region visit during the four-day festival. Featured events include live entertainment on three stages, international foods, carnival rides and games, children’s entertainment, children’s hands-on art activities, business exposition, 5k and 10k races, model railway exhibit, and an arts and crafts show including a fine arts division.
The festival’s hours are: Thursday, May 31, from 6 to 10 p.m.; Friday, June 1, from 5 to 11 p.m.; Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, June 3, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Herndon Festival shuttle bus offers easy access to the festival.
Shuttle buses will provide transportation to and from the festival site
and two convenient parking locations — the Worldgate Shopping Centre
parking garage and Herndon High School. The Fairfax Connector buses will
depart approximately every 10 minutes from each location to the downtown
area.
