Labor Day Holiday Schedules for Fairfax County Government

Listed below are schedules for Fairfax County government offices and services for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 3.

County Government – Closed.

Courts – Closed.

Public Schools and School Offices – Closed.

Libraries – Closed Sept. 2 and 3.

Fairfax Connector – Sunday schedule.

FASTRAN – Not in service.

Park Authority – Nature centers will be open from noon to 4 p.m.; historic sites will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; most RECenters open at their regular time until 6 p.m. except for Audrey Moore RECenter, Mount Vernon RECenter, South Run RECenter and George Washington RECenter, which will be closed.

Community, Teen and Senior Centers – Closed.

County Trash and County Recycling Collection – Regular schedule*.

Recycling and Disposal Facilities at I-66 and I-95 – Open.

* Call private contractors about their schedules.
