International Children’s Festival 2007

The Arts Council of Fairfax County will host children from Bolivia, Nepal, Sweden and Spain as featured performers at the 37th annual International Children’s Festival. The event will be held at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts Sept. 22-23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to lively performances the festival will include Creative Kids workshops where children can create their own comics and participate in art activities from around the world. The Arts and Technology Pavilion will provide hands-on experience with the newest creative technologies, including Claymation, designing a roller coaster, and starring in a music video.

The International Children’s Festival is dedicated to performing, visual and interactive arts, and provides an opportunity for local children to explore the diverse backgrounds of international performers and their own neighbors and classmates.
