Lee District to Hold Neighborhood Resource Fair Oct. 27
Lee District will hold a Neighborhood Resource Fair on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Franconia Governmental Center, 6121 Franconia Rd., Alexandria.
The public is invited to attend and talk with county staff who provide services to neighborhoods, including members of the county’s Enhanced Code Enforcement Strike Team. Specialists will be on hand to help with issues including the following:
- Property maintenance and use.
- Building without permits.
- Parking issues on public streets.
- Junk vehicles on streets and private property.
- Trash.
- Blighted properties.
- Police and safety concerns.
- Grass height enforcement.
- Health concerns and hoarding.
- Streetlight upgrades and new installations.
- Traffic calming and street maintenance.
