Feb. 11 Board of Supervisors Meeting Features 3 Presentations

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, at its meeting on Monday, Feb. 11, scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., will recognize residents and staff. For more information, call 703-324-3187, TTY 711.

First Responders Don’t Always Have Sirens
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Chris Kardelis, Owen Kyer and Ricky Marsh of the Fairfax County Division of Solid Waste and Recycling, for their courageous efforts during a fire on Dec. 26, 2007.

Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Month
The Board of Supervisors will designate February 2008 as Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Month in Fairfax County to help raise awareness of the Earned Income Tax Credit and tax preparation services available through the Fairfax County CASH campaign.

Engineers Week
The Board of Supervisors will designate Feb. 17-23, as Engineers Week in Fairfax County to celebrate this diverse and talented group of professionals and the many ongoing contributions they make in Fairfax County.
