Public Law Library in Fairfax Courthouse Announces Extended Hours
The Fairfax Public Law Library, Room 115, Fairfax County Courthouse, 4110 Chain Bridge Rd., Fairfax, now offers extended hours. The law library will be open Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday hours continue from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
"We are pleased to invite the public to use our new facility," said Clerk of the Fairfax Circuit Court John T. Frey.
"Additional hours means that we will be able to serve the public in a wider capacity,” added Thomas B. Pulver, law library director. “We hope the public takes full advantage of all the wonderful resources we have, which are not available at any other single location in Fairfax County."
The law library now has enhanced customer access to Westlaw, Lexis, Casefinder, HeinOnline, Virginia Continuing Legal Education materials and Legal Services of Northern Virginia printable forms and instructions. The mission of the Fairfax Public Law Library is to provide access to legal information and to assist judges, lawyers, law clerks, court employees and the general public in their research efforts.
