Braddock District Spring Town Meeting on June 11
“Welcome to the Age of Green” is the focus of the spring Braddock District Town Meeting on Wednesday, June 11, at 7:30 p.m. The town meeting will be held in the Kings Park Library Meeting Room, 9000 Burke Lake Road, Burke.
The meeting will highlight environmental initiatives in the region, county and neighborhood, in addition to personal lifestyle greening tips. Speakers include Braddock District Supervisor Sharon Bulova; Fairfax County Environmental Coordinator Kambiz Agazi; Fairfax County Urban Forrester Michael Knapp; and Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Director of Environmental Programs Stuart Freudberg. There also will be representatives from Earth Sangha and other organizations.
The town meeting will be replayed on Fairfax County Government Channel 16 at 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 15; Friday, June 20; and Tuesday, June 24.
