The Hunter Mill District Supervisor’s Office will host a community softball game on Wednesday, June 25, from 6-8 p.m. at Baron Cameron Park, 11300 Baron Cameron Ave, Reston. The Fairfax County Department of Community and Recreation Services and the Fairfax County Police Department will play WPGC-95.5 FM.
Residents are encouraged to come to the event to meet police officers, other county staff and radio personalities while cheering on the players. Free food and drinks will be provided.
“This event aims to encourage local youth, governmental agencies and other service providers to collaborate with one another and foster relationships based on respect and communication, while discouraging violence,” said Hunter Mill District Supervisor Catherine Hudgins.
