Public Schools and School Offices - Closed
Libraries - Closed
Fairfax Connector - Regular weekday schedule, except Routes 595 and 597 (no service*) NOTE: At this time, Fairfax Connector service in the south county area has been affected by a job action. For up-to-date information on schedules, check the Fairfax Connector Web site at www.fairfaxconnector.com or call the Fairfax Connector telephone information center at 703-339-7200, TTY 703-339-1608.
Fastran - Not in service
Park Authority - Facilities will operate on their regular schedules. Nature centers are open from noon to 5 p.m.; historic sites are open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Frying Pan Farm Park is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Country Store and Visitor Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Green Spring Gardens is open from noon to 4:30 p.m., the Historic House is closed.
Community, Teen and Senior Centers - Closed**
County Trash and Recycling Collection - Open; have trash and recyclables properly set out at curb by 6 a.m. to ensure collection.***
Recycling and Disposal Facilities at I-66 and I-95 - Open
*Riders can take Fairfax Connector buses to West Falls Church Metro Station to continue by Metrorail.
** Reston Community Center's Hunters Woods facility (2310 Colts Neck Road, Reston) will be closed. The Lake Anne facility will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
*** Residents receiving trash and recyclables collection service from private collection companies should contact their service provider directly to learn of any schedule adjustments for the holiday.
