At its regular meeting on Dec. 8, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors completed its annual evaluation of County Executive Anthony H. Griffin and County Attorney David P. Bobzien. The evaluations were in-depth and comprehensive reviews and represented input from all board members. The board said that Fairfax County is very well-served by these two outstanding gentlemen.
Despite their superior performances, the board said that the current fiscal atmosphere precludes any adjustment to the county executive's and county attorney's salaries at this time. Their salaries will remain frozen at current levels, subject to any potential adjustments that may be made for the general county work force in the FY 2010 adopted budget. Other terms of their employment remain unchanged.
