Fairfax County has activated its Alternate Emergency Operations Center at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20 in response to the Presidential Inauguration.
Members of the media who need assistance should call Fairfax County Office of Public Affairs staff in the AEOC at 703-502-6101, TTY 711.
Media should also note that media advisories and news releases will NOT be faxed during this activation. All media releases will be posted online on the county Web site as well as e-mailed to our media database. Should your media outlet have any questions about this, please call the AEOC number listed above.
