Board of Supervisors Plans Retreat June 29 and 30

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has scheduled a retreat for Monday and Tuesday, June 29-30, at the Frying Pan Farm Park Visitors Center, Herndon.
This two-day meeting will be an opportunity for the board to consider its priorities for the next few years that will ensure the overall health and well-being of Fairfax County.
The informal, rural setting will provide an opportunity for board members to discuss their views on issues that impact the quality of life for residents of the county and to focus on priorities for protecting and enriching the quality of life for the county’s people, and its neighborhoods and diverse communities. There will be no formal action taken during the retreat. The ideas and concepts discussed at this retreat will serve as a framework for the board's priorities.
Due to the limited space, attendees to this board retreat will be seated as space permits. This is not a public hearing and there will be no opportunity for public comment during the two days.
