Board of Supervisors Chairman Announces Creation of Phase II Tax District for Rail to Dulles

Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Sharon Bulova, along with U.S. Rep Gerald E. Connolly, today announced the creation of the Phase II Tax District for rail to Dulles.

A majority of landowners in the Western Dulles Corridor agreed to create the special tax district to pay for the construction of rail stations in the Reston and Herndon area. The tax district will provide $330 million in capital funding for the project.
