The next Fairfax County Interfaith Community Dialogue — “Our Faith and Ethics: Grappling with the Economic Crisis” — is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, at John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 6531 Columbia Pike, Annandale. Doors open at 6 p.m.; the dialogue is from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Due to limited seating, registration is required by May 11. Registration is available online.
Featured speakers are Imam Shaker Elsayed, Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center; the Very Rev. Grayce O’Neill, St. Albans Episcopal Church; and Rabbi Benjamin Shalva, Congregation Olam Tikvah. The facilitated dialogue offers people of diverse ethnic, cultural and faith backgrounds an opportunity to share their experiences and viewpoints.
The dialogue is presented by Interfaith Communities for Dialogue. Support for the event is provided by a collaborative partnership of the Fairfax County Community Interfaith Liaison Office and local civic, nonprofit and faith communities.
