The Interfaith Communities for Dialogue is hosting a community picnic on Sunday, Aug. 9, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Mason District Park, 6621 Columbia Pike, Annandale. To register for this free event, e-mail ciluser@fairfaxcounty.gov or call 703-324-3453, TTY 711.
Join your neighbors for an afternoon of conversation on building community by strengthening understanding and relationships within our culturally and religiously diverse neighborhoods. Bring food and refreshments for yourself and extra to share. Also, bring chairs and blankets for your comfort. There also will be games and activities for both children and adults.
Support for the picnic is provided by a collaborative partnership of the Fairfax County Community Interfaith Liaison Office and local civic, nonprofit and faith communities.
