Virginia House Bill 516 and other legislation affecting mandatory homeowners and condominium associations are the topic of a free educational seminar on Monday, Nov. 9, from 7 to 9 p.m., Board Auditorium, Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. The seminar is presented by the Consumer Affairs Branch of the Fairfax County Department of Cable Communications and Consumer Protection and the Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Associations Institute (WMCCAI).
The seminar offers an opportunity for increased understanding of Virginia House Bill 516; management company licensing; the role of the common interest community board and common interest community ombudsman; and the homeowner complaint process. Industry professionals from WMCCAI will present a panel discussion.
