Find out how to keep your family and neighborhood safe at the Reston Neighborhood Watch Workshop on Tuesday, March 31, 6-8 p.m., at the Southgate Community Center, 12125 Pinecrest Road, Reston. Child care and light dinner will be provided. Registrations for this free event are due by Monday, March 30.
Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program offered by the Fairfax County Police Department that enlists active participation of residents to reduce crime, solve problems and improve the quality of life within the community. Crime prevention officers from the Reston District Station will show how neighbors can collaborate to:
- Protect themselves, their families, their property and their community.
- Recognize and report crime and suspicious activity.
- Work with local law enforcement personnel to solve problems.
