According to unofficial election results, John C. Cook has won the vacant Braddock District seat on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. Votes from all 25 precincts have been counted.
Ballots cast at Braddock Precinct 105 Fairview were recorded properly. The complete results were tabulated at today’s Fairfax County Electoral Board meeting:
- John C. Cook 6,292 votes
- Ilryong Moon 6,203 votes
- Cary C. Campbell 260 votes
According to the Code of Virginia, a candidate may appeal for a recount if the margin of victory is within 1 percent.
The Braddock District seat was vacated by Sharon Bulova, who was elected Board of Supervisors chairman on Feb. 3.
