TextTwo Water Main Breaks Near Huntington Metro Station

There are two water main breaks in the vicinity of the Huntington Metro Station. One is at Richmond Highway and Collard Street in Alexandria; two of three southbound lanes of Richmond Highway are closed.
The other break is at the intersection of Huntington Avenue and Fifer Drive in Alexandria. Huntington Avenue has one lane open in each direction.
This may impact people traveling into and out of the Huntington Metro Station.
Fairfax County Police units are assisting with traffic control.
