"Preparing for all Hazards: Winter Safety": Provides Winter Preparedness Information

This past weekend’s winter storm highlights the need for all residents to be prepared for inclement weather this winter. The Fairfax County Office of Emergency Management provides advice on emergency planning during the winter months with the program “Preparing for All Hazards: Winter Safety,” which will air on both Fairfax County Channel 16 and online.

The information presented in the program will help residents recognize winter threats, develop an action plan and be ready when severe winter weather threatens our area.
“Preparing for All Hazards: Winter Safety” will air on Channel 16 now through March on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.; Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.; and Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. The show is available on the county Web site via video on demand and the county’s YouTube channel.
