Fairfax County Hosts Vendor Forum on March 15

The Fairfax County Small Business
Commission and the Department of Purchasing and
Supply Management (DPSM) are hosting the 2010 Vendor Forum on Monday,
March 15, 9:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.; registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The
event will be held at the Fairfax County Government
Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035.
The Vendor Forum is a free trade show to improve business opportunities for small, women-owned and minority-owned businesses. Attendees can benefit by:
- Presenting products and services directly to county buyers and representatives.
- Networking with other companies with complementary products and services.
- Obtaining valuable insight into Fairfax County Government business needs.
The Vendor Forum also includes several workshops covering topics including legal and funding issues. There is no cost to attend but online registration is recommended.
The purpose of the Fairfax County Small Business Commission is to enhance the capability of small, minority-owned, and emerging businesses to succeed. The commission is composed of 12 volunteers appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
