Hunter Mill District Community Softball Game Aug. 18

News Highlights   Free event includes a cookout. Fourth annual softball game begins at 6 p.m.

Update: This event has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Sept. 1, due to inclement weather.

The Hunter Mill District Supervisor’s Office will host the fourth annual community softball game between the WPGC-FM 95.5 Players and the Road Dawgs from the Reston District Police Station. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18, at the South Lakes High School varsity baseball field. Many on-air personalities will be playing in the game, and WPGC will be broadcasting live from the field.

The game will be preceded by a cookout at 5 p.m. Free food and drinks will be provided.

The event also is sponsored by the Reston District Police Station and the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services.
