The Fairfax County 2009 Land
Conservation Awards ceremony was held on Friday, Jan. 22.
Board of Supervisors Chairman Sharon
Bulova presented the awards to the recipients.
The awards honor developers, designers, site superintendents and contractors whose projects best demonstrate excellence in erosion and sediment control design and implementation or a commitment to tree preservation and replacement in Fairfax County.
The Fairfax County Department of Public Works and
Environmental Services, in cooperation with the Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation
District and the Fairfax Tree Commission,
sponsor the annual awards program. The following awards will be presented
during Friday’s ceremony:
