Register to Participate in Mass Ice Wedding in China

Every year during the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, Fairfax County's sisterhood partner Harbin, China holds a group ice wedding event where 100 couples from more than 50 countries and regions tie the knot among massive ice sculptures. Harbin’s Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office is looking for couples to participate in the 2011 ceremony in January.
The 2011 China Harbin International Mass Ice Wedding Ceremony will be jointly held by the Ngaisheung International Entertainment Hong Kong Company, the Harbin Youth League Committee, Fairfax County Convention and Visitors Corporation, Harbin Tourism Bureau and Harbin Foreign Affairs Office in Harbin during the ice and snow festival from Jan. 4-9, 2011, with the theme of “Pure love witnessed by the holy ice and snow.”
The group ice wedding event has been one of the highlights of Harbin’s ice and snow festival, held since 1963.
