County Government – Closed.
Courts – Close at noon on Wednesday,
Nov. 24; closed Nov. 25-26
Public Schools and School
Offices– Two-hour early closing for students only on Wednesday,
Nov. 24; closed Nov. 25-26.
Library – Closed.
- Nov. 25 - Sunday Service on routes: 101, 151, 152, 161, 162, 171, 310, 321, 322, 401, 402, 505, 574, 605, 950 and RIBS 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. No other routes will operate.
- Nov. 26 - Operating weekday service on most Fairfax Connector routes; except routes 380D, 585, 595, and 597, which will not operate; and route 980 will operate a reduced level of service.
Fastran – Not in service.
- Nov. 25 - All Park Authority RECenters will open at their regular time and close at noon, except George Washington, which is closed. Nature centers, historic sites, Green Spring Gardens and Frying Pan Farm Park are closed.
- Nov. 26 - Nature centers are open noon to 5 p.m.; historic sites are open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Frying Pan Farm Park is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Visitor Center is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Green Spring Gardens is open noon to 4:30 p.m.; the Historic House will be closed.
Teen and Senior Centers – Closed.
Community Centers – Closed Nov. 25, 26 and 27.
McLean Community Center – Closed.
Reston Community Center Hunters Woods – Open Nov. 25, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Nov. 26 - regular hours.
Reston Community Center Lake Anne – Closed Nov. 25; Nov. 26 – regular hours.
County Trash and Recycling Collection – Residents receiving trash and recycling collection from Fairfax County will have regular collection service Nov. 25 and 26. Residents receiving trash and recyclables collection service from private collection companies should contact service provider for the holiday schedule.
Recycling and Disposal Facilities at I-66 Transfer Station and I-95 Landfill Complex – Closed Nov. 25. Open on Nov. 26 with normal operating schedule.
