TextBasketball Bird Bowl to Be Played Jan. 21

The Hayfield Secondary School Hawks and Edison High School Eagles girls and boys basketball teams will compete in the first annual Bird Bowl on Friday, Jan. 21, at Edison. The girls game starts at 5:45 p.m., and the boys game begins at 7:30.
The event is sponsored by Red, Hot and Blue, which will supply food during the game. The winning team will receive a trophy.
The schools' football and field hockey teams have competed in the Bird Bowl for the past two seasons, but this is the first time for the basketball teams.
