Welcome and Recognition
The Board of Supervisors will recognize teachers from Songpa-Gu, Seoul,
Korea, and Fairfax County
Public Schools who participated in an academic and cultural exchange.
James Oliver
The Board of Supervisors will recognize James Oliver for more than 30
years of service with Fairfax County Public Schools, most recently as
principal of Mountain View Alternative High School.
Chantilly High School Golf Team
The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Chantilly High School Golf
Team for winning the 2010 Northern Region Golf Championship and senior Ji
Soo Park for winning the individual medal for the second consecutive
year.
Good Shepherd Christian Academy
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Good Shepherd Christian Academy
for its efforts in the 2010 Kohl’s Cares program.
Santa’s Ride
The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Fairfax County Police Department
Motor Squad for organizing Santa’s Ride each year and Michael
Cantrell for his contributions.
Douglas Pew
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Douglas Pew for his years of
service on the Fairfax County Trails and
Sidewalks Committee.
Mentoring Month
The Board of Supervisors will designate January 2011 as Mentoring Month
in Fairfax County.
African-American History Month
The Board of Supervisors will designate February 2011 as
African-American History Month in Fairfax County.
Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day
The Board of Supervisors will designate Jan. 28 as Earned Income Tax
Credit Awareness Day in Fairfax County.
