TextAlert: Gunfire-Like Noise at Dulles Expo Center on Aug. 11

As part of a law enforcement conference today at the Dulles EXPO Center in Chantilly, residents who live nearby may hear loud noises that sound like gunfire from approximately 3 to 4:30 p.m.
These noises will come from a demonstration of stun grenades, also known as "flashbang" devices, outside the center. These non-lethal devices produce a bright flash of light and a loud noise.
County public safety personnel, including the county's 9-1-1 call center, are aware of this demonstration.
