Real Estate Tax Payment Due Dec. 5
Nov. 28, 2011
If your real estate tax is not included in your mortgage payment, Monday, Dec. 5 is the deadline to make your payment directly to Fairfax County. Payment methods include check, credit card, electronic check and automatic installments. Review your bill or visit www.fairfaxcounty.gov/dta for details.
Most mortgage companies participate in a mass billing and payment system
through electronic information exchange with Fairfax County.
Participating mortgage companies furnish Fairfax County with electronic

the taxes from escrow accounts. If your mortgage holder does not commit
to pay your Real Estate Tax, the tax bills are mailed to your current
mailing address. You may check your current mailing address in the real estate
