To report storm drain or sewer backups, residents should call the 24/7 emergency phone number at 703-239-8444, TTY 711, until further notice. This is a temporary number that is being used while Verizon repairs its phone lines.
This number also can be used to report storm drain flooding after normal business hours. During business hours, however, residents should call 703-877-2800, TTY 711, to report storm drain flooding.
Storm drain backups also can be reported online. For street flooding, call the Virginia Department of Transportation at 1-800-FOR-ROAD (367-7623), TTY 711.
