Absentee Voting During Celebrate Fairfax!, Saturday, June 9

The Fairfax County Government Center will be open Saturday, June 9 for the final day of absentee voting for the June 12 primary from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Absentee voters may experience traffic congestion or delays near the Government Center due to the Celebrate Fairfax! event taking place on the Government Center grounds. Absentee voters who want to vote on Saturday, June 9, but do not want to attend the festival, should go to the Green Gate  (look for signage at first entrance to the Government Center on the right from Forum Drive.) Please inform the event staff that you are there to absentee vote. You will be directed to voter parking and instructed on how to enter the Government Center to absentee vote in the Office of Elections, Suite 323. 

To avoid festival-related traffic, you are encouraged to vote early in the week. In addition to Saturday, you can absentee vote at the Government Center on:

  • Monday, June 4 through Wednesday, June 6 – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 7 – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.  (extended evening hours)
  • Friday, June 8 – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
