What You Need to Know Before You Go to Vote

Polls in Virginia are open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6. Make sure you are ready to vote by taking these steps:

Bring a Form of ID to Vote:

Make Sure You Know Your Polling Place: Due to the recent
congressional redistricting, your polling place may have changed. Check
the
Virginia State Board of Elections Website to make sure you know
your polling place.

Learn About the Four County Bond Questions: The county plans to
pay for improvements to libraries, parks, public safety buildings and
stormwater infrastructure by selling bonds. Voters will be asked to
vote YES or NO on these four bond questions. Visit the 2012 Bond Referenda web page for more

Find Out About the Two Proposed Constitutional Amendments: Get

Review Your Sample Ballot: Go online and scroll down to click on
the ballot for your district.

Look for Election Results (after
