Update: Office of Elections staff and volunteers will be at the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro Station today, Oct. 12, 4 to 6 p.m., to encourage commuters to check and verify their voter registration.
Check and verify your voter registration before the Monday, Oct.15 deadline. An estimated 200,000 Fairfax County voters may not be able to cast a ballot on Nov. 6, or may go to the wrong poll location,because their registration may not be up-to-date. Oct. 15 is the deadline to register to vote or make changes to your registration information for the Nov. 6 election. Check your registration at the Virginia State Board of Elections Website or call the Fairfax County Office of Elections at 703-222-0776 (TTY 711). The Fairfax County Office of Elections is open Saturday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at the Government Center, Suite 323.
