TextBoard of Supervisors Evaluates County Executive, County Attorney

At its two regular meetings held on Jan. 8 and 29, the Board of Supervisors performed its annual evaluations of County Executive Edward L. Long Jr. and County Attorney David P. Bobzien.
The evaluations were in-depth, comprehensive reviews and represented input from all board members. The board said that Fairfax County is “very well-served by these two outstanding public servants.”
Despite their superior performances, the board said that the current fiscal atmosphere precludes any adjustment to the salaries of the county executive and county attorney at this time. Other terms of their employment remain unchanged.
