Tysons Express Connector Bus Infographic

News Highlights New express Connector service from the Burke VRE station to Tysons starts today. Two other express lines to Tysons start this spring. Consumer research shows that there's a demand for this new express service.

On Monday, Jan. 14, Fairfax Connector started operating its first express bus to Tysons, and two other express routes to Tysons will begin running this spring.

This new express service was approved by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in September 2012. These new routes make up some of the $3.1 billion in transportation improvements needed during the next 40 years to turn Tysons into Fairfax's green, walkable and transit-friendly "downtown."

As this infographic illustrates, consumer research shows that people are willing to ditch their cars and hop onboard the express buses to Tysons instead of driving to work alone.
