Apply for Free Photo ID (if Needed) and Take a Look at the New Voting Machines

The Fairfax County Office of Elections is providing residents with many opportunities countywide to apply for a free photo ID, if needed. Virginia now requires everyone to provide photo ID in order to vote in person on Election Day or at absentee voting locations. Absentee by mail voters do not need photo ID. Acceptable forms of photo ID. You can also take a look at the county’s new voting machines and register to vote! The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 14.

Find a convenient time and location, then stop by and be ready for the upcoming Nov. 4, 2014 election.
