Town Elections May 6; What You Need to Know Before You Go to Vote

The towns of Clifton, Herndon and Vienna are holding elections for mayor and town council on Tuesday, May 6. Polls are open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.  Make sure you are ready to vote by taking these steps:

  • Know Your Polling Place: 
    • Clifton Location
      Clifton Town Meeting Hall
      12641 Chapel Rd.
    • Herndon Location
      Herndon Community Center
      814 Ferndale Ave.
    • Vienna Location
      Vienna Community Center
      120 Cherry St., SE
  • Review Your Sample Ballot: Sample ballots are available online (PDF): Clifton, Herndon and Vienna
  • Download the Fairfax County App on Your Smartphone for Voting Info on the Go: More information.
  • Bring a Form of ID to Vote: List of acceptable ID from the Virginia State Board of Elections (photo ID is not required).
