This jewelry-lovers paradise features 40
juried artisan jewelers who hand craft unique and
beautiful jewelry. At the show you can put your child's
fingerprints on a bracelet, design a piece with birthstones
from your family, make a modern charm bracelet with a theme,
work on a custom design, or get a favorite piece repaired.

ArtNotes Concert - The U.S. Navy Band Brass
Quintet: Since 1971, the Navy Band Brass Quintet has performed at
libraries, museums, colleges and high schools throughout the
metropolitan Washington area. The quintet's repertoire
includes works from the 16th through the 20th centuries, with
many of the compositions arranged by its members. 7:30 p.m.

For more than 150 years, people have studied, researched and
dug the earth for clues helping to make George Washington’s
home one of the most accurately restored 18th-century estates
in America. The beauty, use and importance of Mount Vernon’s
gardens and landscape will be discussed with a focus on the
most recently restored pleasure garden, during the Harry Allen Winter
Lecture Series: George Washington’s Garden.
Horticulture Director Dean Norton’s presentation is not a
history lesson but an informative yet entertaining look at
the gardening world of George Washington. Afterward, meet
Norton and enjoy refreshments. 1:30 to 3 p.m. Green Spring
