Meet a live shark and other fish, and discover what makes
some of these curious creatures well adapted to the Atlantic
Ocean during
Live Sharks, Rays and More. Participants age 4 and

Dance Company in the See a Book theater. Listen to

the Hear a Book room. Interact with Jacqueline Jules and Now
This! in the Become a Book room. Reading and writing
activities will be available in the Read and Write a Book
room. Visitors can also participate in family computer
activities in the Click a Book room. All kids get a

Easter Egg Hunt at Sully: Children ages 3 to 7 bring
their baskets and hunt for Easter eggs. Participate in an egg
roll and visit baby animals. Create an Easter craft to take
home. Filled eggs are provided at the site. 1 to 3 p.m. Egg
hunt begins at 2:30 p.m. Sully

Beads of Courage Challenge: The Society of Glass
Beadmakers, Mid-Atlantic and the newly formed Virginia
Firebirds host a Beads of Courage "Play Day."
Glass artists from around the region will be working in
Building W-7 to create one-of-a-kind glass beads to benefit
children with cancer. The public is welcome to come and
observe the artists working and learn about the Beads of
Courage program. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Workhouse Arts

Sunday, March 25: With an
Oink, Oink Here...
Guess the identity of mystery animals by listening to their
musical portraits during a Musical Camera Safari.
This interactive concert is based upon the beloved classic
orchestral work "Carnival of the Animals" by French
master composer Saint-Saens, and will be fun for ages 5 and
above. 2 to 3 p.m. Colvin Run

along the Rocky Run Stream Trail. Learn how the stream was
harnessed for Cabell's

Snakes of Northern Virginia: Get a
close-up look at a few of the area's year-long
residents--snakes! Discover the unique natural history and
evolution of these legless animals and watch the snakes eat.
