 Saturday, March 8: Music to Your Ears

Annual Spring Family Concert: Spring may seem far off, but celebrate its coming with music featuring concertmaster Irene Ilchyshyn and student concerto winners and composers. Victorian America — Glimpses into a Gilded Age: Explore this period of transformation and innovation in American life through lectures, living history performances and exhibits. Distinguished guest speakers will present different aspects of the late Victorian era, including social movements, fashion, art, gender and more. Hear how Green Spring's historic legacy springs from the Gilded Age. From 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Green Spring Gardens. Lunch is included in the $75/person fee. Call ahead for vegetarian requests. Family Woodcock Walk: Come for an evening walk through the woods to one of the park’s largest meadows.  Sunday, March 9: Leapin' Lizards!

Reptile and Amphibian Club: Join the Reptile and Amphibian Club and explore the amazing world of turtles, snakes, lizards, frogs and salamanders. Whether you've just begun to explore these ideas or you've been trying them for years, there is something new for you to learn at this program.
