Cabaret Series – Around the World in 80 Minutes: Grab your passport and pack your bags for a virtual trip around the world in true musical style!  A tuneful crew of vocalists will whisk you to destinations around the globe, exploring the songs and characters inspired by people and places from the Far East to the Midwest and from the South Pacific to the North Atlantic. Laundry Day: See 18th-century laundry demonstrations including boiling laundry over the fire in the outbuilding, scrubbing with homemade lye soap, ironing and other chores done by Madam Juba 200 years ago.  Sunday, May 4: The Great Outdoors

Wetlands Awareness Day: Enjoy an afternoon with live animal presentations, nature activities and family fun. From noon to 4 p.m. at Huntley Meadows Park. There is a small fee for some activities. For information call 703-768-2525.
