 Friday, May 10: Happy Hostas 

Gardening with Hostas: Hostas are easy to grow and feature a variety of colors, shapes, textures and decorative foliage – perfect for the beginning gardener.  Saturday, May 11: Borderline Beauty

Great Shrubs for Mixed Borders: Mixing perennials together can be challenging – coordinating heights, colors and bloom times. Shrubs can help glue your garden together as perennials show off intermittently. Horticulturalist Karen Rexrode shows you colorful shrubs and evergreens to anchor your mixed border for year-round beauty. From 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Green Spring Gardens. $18/person. Spring Farm Day: The farm is abuzz with spring activities. Watch sheep shearing and antique farm equipment demonstrations. Participate in hands-on farm activities such as cow and goat milking. Enjoy crafts, games and puppet shows, and get an up-close introduction to the baby farm animals. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Frying Pan Farm Park. $7/person in advance or $8/person at the door. 2nd Saturday Art Walk: Tour seven unique studio buildings to see the work of over 100 visual artists; mix and mingle with the artists; buy original works of art; experience ever-changing exhibits; and meet featured artists, all while enjoying light refreshments and music.  Sunday, May 12: Make the Most of Mother's Day

Mother's Day Tea: Raise your teacups to mothers and nurturers everywhere! Learn about some of the remarkable mothers who raised children in the Historic House from the 1780s to the 1960s. They lived in the same house, but their stories reflect many eras and were very different. Barker Bill’s Wagtime Revue: Enjoy a collection of vignettes performed in an old-fashioned, traveling one-ring circus. With a central theme of perseverance, bundled together with a sprinkle of whimsy and general frivolity, the vignettes are brought to life by a band of ragtime hound puppets with a wonderful canine twist.
