Get ready for a powerful evening of art as Portland
Taiko takes the stage. Taiko (the Japanese word for
drum and the name of the art form) has its roots in ancient
Japanese tradition. Today, it is a dynamic and evolving
performing art combining rhythm, movement, energy and
culture. Portland Taiko weaves rhythm, melody, humor and
movement together into an exhilarating musical experience. 8

Concerts at the Alden: Henry Flory, one of the
leading young violinists of his generation, has performed
