Meet a naturalist for a look at Bull Run Regional Park after
dark during a Nature Night
Hike. Search for white-tailed deer, red foxes,
raccoons, opossums and any other animals that are active at
night! Meet at the Bull Run camp store. 6:30 to 8 p.m.

animal caretakers from 4 to 5 p.m. and learn what the Hidden
Pond Nature Center exhibit animals eat and how they

Saturday, Nov. 13: Book 'em
Just in time for shopping season, it's the Friends of Burke
Centre Library's Holiday Used Book Sale. Winter holiday books
for children and adults and a wide assortment of great books
for gift giving. 10 a.m.

distinguish a pine from a fir or spruce with Green Spring Gardens Director
Mary Olien. Look at the scale needle conifers and learn
the difference between junipers, cedars and
cypresses. Bring a 10X hand lens or magnifying glass.

Sunday, Nov. 14: Like a Fine Wine
The McLean Annual Antiques Show & Sale offers an
exceptional group of dealers representing American, English
and European antiques, decorative accessories, furniture,
folk art, porcelains, silver, paintings, prints, linens,
Oriental carpets and rugs, glass repair service and much
more. Benefit for the James C. Macdonald Scholarship Fund.
