When a first-prize Montreux Jazz Festival vocalist teams up
with one of the world's most talented guitarists,fireworks
are sure to result. Don't miss
Cyrille Aimée and Diego Figueiredo as they showcase
Aimée's smooth, driving vocal style, a stunning blend of
French Gypsy jazz and Dominican rhythm and spice, alongside
Figueiredo's emotional style and flawless technique. The two
combine to form an original yet timeless sound. 8 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 15: Santa Baby!
Enjoy holiday music and merriment on a horse- or
tractor-drawn wagon ride and then warm up with a cup of hot
chocolate and settle in to hear classic winter tales told
around a toasty campfire during
Santa’s Hayride & Lakeside Winter
Village. Visit with Santa and tell him what’s on

Woodpecker Watch: As they drum and drill on trees,
woodpeckers are ridding our yards and woodlands of ants,
wasps and grubs. Watch a variety of woodpeckers on the suet
feeders at Hidden Oaks. Learn how to attract them to your
yard and hopefully glimpse a flicker on its mission to eat a
thousand insects in a day! 2 to 3 p.m. Hidden

Holiday Shopping Afternoon: Kids participate in
games, nature crafts and activities, shop in the visitor
center’s gift store, eat lunch and roast s’mores while adults
have the afternoon free for last minute shopping and/or

Sunday, Dec. 16: Pickin' and Grinnin'
Whether Flint Hollow Band is performing a classic
bluegrass tune or one of its many original numbers, listeners
are whisked away to days gone by. Mixing traditional
bluegrass with a splash of contemporary is not an easy task.
Yet, Flint Hollow Band seem to pull it off well, which is a
tribute to the wealth of vocal and instrumental talent in the
band. Flint Hollow takes the stage for another must-see
Bluegrass Barn Concert. 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6

Dinosaur Film, Puppet and Craft Festival: Kids can
explore fossils, footprints and films as they learn the
latest on these fascinating creatures at fun, interactive
stations. Each child makes a fossil craft and receives a real

Cheers for the Holidays - McLean Symphony
Orchestra: A spirited holiday show featuring Russian
Christmas music, the festive sounds of Hannukah and much
more, including the annual sing-along, a delightful
collection of festive choruses of the season, sung by the
