What’s Your Passion? Volunteer Your Time

Perhaps you are new to the area or haven’t had a lot of time to volunteer, but the list of volunteer opportunities in our county reaches across all ages and interests. Here are few examples:

Join Others in Volunteering

Last year more than 18,000 people volunteered for county government programs and services for a total of 507,239 hours, which equals an estimated $12,630,000 worth of services to our community (and our taxpayers). In addition, Volunteer Fairfax recorded 22,893 volunteers who donated 82,891 hours to local community partners, which is worth an estimated $2,063,000.

Care to join the growing brigade of volunteers? It’s easy to find a good fit for your interests and time constraints at a location convenient to where you live or work. Through our volunteer management system, you can customize your search for a volunteer position or find an opportunity for your group (scouts, church group, business, etc.)
