It’s Northern Virginia Restaurant Week through Monday, March 27. There are 15 eateries participating countywide, plus many more across the region.
We have an incredible diversity of eateries and cuisines in Fairfax County, ranging from fine dining to farm-to-table to craft breweries to wine bars to traditional comfort food.
In honor of this event, our Board of Supervisors designated March 20-27 as Restaurant Week in Fairfax County.
Participating restaurants will set their own menus and prices for the week , offering everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner to takeout options.
This week is sponsored by local chamber of commerce, including the Greater Reston Chamber, and the Virginia Restaurant, Travel and Lodging Association.
Restaurants, breweries and wineries are important to our local economy, and Fairfax County is working to make it easier for new restaurants to get started as part of the county’s strategic Economic Success Plan. For example, we recently approved new zoning rules to allow craft breweries, distilleries and wineries to open in more locations across the county.
