This fall in Fairfax County, an estimated 13,000 children will transition from home or child care to kindergarten. Recently, staff from the Fairfax County Office for Children and Fairfax County Public Schools went live online to answer questions about what families can do to ensure a smooth transition to kindergarten.
If your child is going to be 5 years old by September 30, now is a good time to register for kindergarten.
