More than 750 people attended a community gathering on April 18, hosted by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and Faith Communities in Action, to grieve and celebrate the lives of those killed.
Care packages are one idea to help students at Virginia Tech. They can be sent directly to Virginia Tech at:
Dean of Students Office
201 West Roanoke St.
Christiansburg, VA 24060
Ideas for care package items include: snack foods, baked goods,
gum/candy, coffee /tea, stuffed animals, inspirational items and cards,
drawings from children, and anything "regionally" related to
where you are located so students know where the care packages are coming
from.
